Tom Thumb believes in working together with our customers to support programs that improve the quality of life in the communities we serve. We are committed to assisting non-profit organizations that are important to our customers and their families.

Tom Thumb offers our customers a way to direct our donation dollars to their favorite church, school or other non-profit organization. Since the program began in the fall of 1996, Randalls/Tom Thumb has donated nearly $58 million to thousands of participating organizations. Through our Good Neighbor Program (GNP), organizations sign-up to have an exclusive account number. Members of the organization can then link the non-profit's GNP account number to their Loyalty account by completing a Customer's Good Neighbor Charity Addition/Deletion Form, found in the link above or below. You will also find guidelines for organizations participating in the Good Neighbor Program outlined below. The more people who link their Loyalty account to the organization's GNP account number, the more money the organization will raise. Can I link my Loyalty account to more than one organization?
Up to three organizations per household may be linked. Your total purchase amount will be divided equally to the organizations designated on the Loyalty account in each household. To maximize the contribution level, we recommend choosing only one organization per household.
What if I already have my Loyalty account linked to an organization, but decide that I want to change it?
You can change your designated organization at any time by completing a Customer's Good Neighbor Charity Addition/Deletion Form found above or below. Follow the instructions on the form.
Do I have to give the organization's number every time I make a purchase?
No. Once your Loyalty account is linked to your specified organization, that's it! Every time you make a purchase using your Club Card or Phone #, the total purchase will be automatically credited to your organization.
What purchases are excluded?
Pharmacy, fuel, alcoholic beverages, and tobacco products do not count toward the purchase amount credited to Good Neighbor Program accounts.
I forgot to give the cashier my Club Card or Phone #. Can I bring in my receipt tomorrow to be sure that my organization gets the credit for that purchase?
Unfortunately, no. A customer's Club Card or Phone # must be entered at the register prior to having your groceries scanned. Data to determine Tom Thumbs' contribution to Good Neighbor Program organizations is collected electronically. Therefore, we are only able to credit the organizations with purchases made through the Club Card or Phone # at the time of purchase. Purchases made prior to the Loyalty account being linked to the organization do not count toward the Good Neighbor Program and are not retroactive.

If your organization is seeking a donation or sponsorship from Tom Thumb, this is the program for you!  Our Good Neighbor Program allows us to support a great number of community endeavors.  In fact, we make most of our contributions with this program.

Most of our customers use their Club Card or Phone # each time they shop because of the many benefits the card offers.  Customers save money, earn gas and grocery rewards while supporting their favorite organization/s.  At Tom Thumb, your Good Neighbor Program account number is linked to your supporters’ Loyalty accounts so your organization will accumulate funds quickly and easily.

Here’s how it works:  Your organization fills out an application, found below. Once your organization’s application has been approved, it will be assigned an exclusive account number.  That number must be communicated by your organization to the supporters of your group, who can then link your account number to their individual Tom Thumb Loyalty account.  Your supporters will simply fill out the Customer’s Good Neighbor Charity Addition/Deletion form found above and below and follow the instructions on the form.  That’s it!  Your organization is now linked to their Tom Thumb Loyalty account.  From that point on, the purchase price of their groceries will automatically be recorded to your organization’s Good Neighbor account.  We keep a running total of your account, and a check for 1% of the total is sent directly to your organization each calendar quarter.

We will pay 1% of your members’ total grocery purchases to your fund-raising organization, as long as the Loyalty account holders are in good standing with Tom Thumb.  The amount of the check depends on the amount of your supporters’ total purchases.

When does our organization receive its check?
Tom Thumb pays your organization 1% of the total purchases at the end of each calendar quarter (March, June, September, and December). Your organization will receive a check approximately three weeks following the end of the quarter. Once the quarterly payment has been made to your organization, your account will revert back to $0 and will begin accumulating again for the next quarter.
Will we receive any type of quarterly statement?
Yes. A statement will be sent to your organization approximately two weeks following the end of the quarter. The statement will show the total purchase amount made by your members for the quarter. It will also show how much your payment will be from Tom Thumb. Your group should receive the check (if warranted) following the statement.
If my organization joins the program during the last month of the quarter, will I still receive a check for that quarter?
If purchases total less than $2,500, your purchases will automatically roll over to the next quarter. Otherwise, all organizations receive a check at the end of each quarter. Additionally, all accounts are paid out in full at the end of the year, regardless of the balance.
Can a member have his or her Tom Thumb Loyalty account linked to more than one organization?

What if a customer already has his or her Loyalty account linked to an organization, but then decides to change it?
