FAQs

What can I expect in the hiring process?

We receive a lot of applications from individuals interested in being a part of the team here at Albertson’s Companies. We do our best to review them all. After we’ve had a chance to review your application, a member of our HR or TA team will reach out to you to learn more about you, your skills, and experiences. Some jobs will require an additional step such as an on-site tour, a road test for CDL A Truck Drivers or even another interview. During these interactions, you’ll also have a chance to ask anything you’d like to help you learn more about your future career with us. If you’re the right candidate for the job, an offer will be given to you but even if you’re not, there may be other opportunities within our broad company of banners that could line up for you.

How will the HR or TA teams communicate with me?

Our HR and TA teams will use multiple methods to ensure we can reach you regarding your interest in a career with us. Throughout the process they will call, text, and/or email you. It’s important to ensure you have a voicemail box that’s set up and accepts new messages (not full) and, especially during and after the offer phase, check your spam/junk folders as sometimes our emails around post-offer steps get filtered out.

How can I check on the status of my application?

At any point in time, you can visit the career site, AlbertsonsCompanies.com/Careers, and log into your candidate portal by clicking on the blue person icon in the top right corner. You’ll log in with the same email or phone number you used originally. You may be asked to verify your identity. This is for your security. Once you’re logged in all your applications and statuses will be listed.

Do I need a resume?

While a resume isn’t required, it allows us to easily view your skills and experiences. We’d happily accept one if you wish to provide one. We also provide a section of the application where you can list applicable education, experiences, skills, etc. for our review if that’s easier. We’re simply looking forward to learning more about you, your interests, skills, and experience as it relates to joining our team!
