AUDIO: [Bill]…we tried to find people that would buy our product, would buy a premium product and they were few. Nobody would pay any attention to us except Safeway.

AUDIO: [Mike] Travel freshness is a big deal these days because this is called fresh fruit not old fruit. Within 12 hours it’s sometimes at the stores.

[Jeannie] My name is Jeannie Ghiggeri Stonebarger. Everything I did was around farming. It’s definitely in my blood.

AUDIO: [Glenn] She has been around corn her entire life so she probably has been around corn longer than I have by a few years
[Jeannie] We won’t…we won’t go into years.
They both laugh.

AUDIO: [Glenn] We are a family farm. We don’t do a huge amount of volume. We can’t service everybody in the industry so we have a good customer base; Safeway being the best.

AUDIO: [Glenn] We start about 3 o’clock in the morning and we harvest until about noon that day…we bring it in, we pack it to ensure the freshness

AUDIO: [Jeannie] Obviously I shop at Safeway quite a bit. I walk around the produce department probably a few times, just to see that box in the…and I’m like, “Yes!” I’m just really, really proud.
