Directions 1 Portion: 1 cup low fat milk; 2 tbsps sugar; a pinch salt (optional); 2 tbsps farina/creamy wheat. Stove Top: In a medium saucepan, boil milk with sugar and salt. Add the creamy wheat farina and, stirring constantly, cook for 2 minutes or until desired consistency. Microwave (Cooking time may vary due to different types of microwave ovens): In a medium microwave bowl, warm milk with sugar and salt for 1-1/2 minutes. Add the creamy wheat farina and mix well. Continue cooking for 1 minute or until desired consistency.
