Pardina Lentils, Dehydrated Vegetables (Carrots, Onions, Tomatoes, Spinach, Celery, Bell Peppers), Hydrolized Soy Protein, Spices.
Directions 1 package soup mix; 1/4 cup olive oil; 1 medium onion, chopped; 2 gloves garlic, minced (more if you prefer); 10 cups water; approximately 1/2 lb medium Italian sausage, crumbled (optional). In a large pot, saute onion, garlic and sausage (optional) in olive oil until onions are tender. Add soup mix, contents of the spice packet and water, bring to a full rolling boil. Stir to dissolve spices. Reduce heat; cover and continue to cook at slow rolling boil for approximately 30 minutes or until lentils are tender. Half-way through cooking time add salt to taste. Makes about 10 - 1 cup servings. May add more water if necessary.
