Directions Stovetop Cooking Directions: Add 1 cup Bluebird Emmer Farro to 4 cups water or stock, and a pinch of salt. Boil on high for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Cover and simmer for 50-60 minutes until berries are plump and chewy. Drain excess liquid. Prepared hot or cold. One cup makes 3-4 servings. Store this product in a dry, cool environment in a sealed container. Serve Hot! Crisp cooked farro in olive oil, with onions & fresh herbs. Or make a quick risotto - saute cooked farro with shallots & thyme & finish with mascarpone. Serve Cold! Toss with seasonal greens, dried fruit, toasted nuts & feta. Or combine with tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, shallots, & olive oil-Caprese style! Store this product in a dry, cool environment in a sealed container.
