Directions Preparation: Kale has a subtle flavor that blends well with many dishes. It is the perfect addition to soups, sautes, stir-fries, even coleslaws. Or serve it simply cooked on its own with garlic, onion or leeks and mushrooms sauteed in olive oil, and spiced with salt and pepper. Cooking Method: Wilt: In large covered pot (amount broth/water needed to keep from sticking while cooking); Kale Greens 2 lbs: 12 minutes (about 1 cup). Boil: Boil in broth or water until tender; Kale Greens 2 lbs: 8-10 minutes. Microwave: Covered microwave-safe container (vented), stir once; Kale Greens 2 lbs: 8-9 minutes; rinse and drain greens first.
