Our business now includes a full service bakery cafe in which these world class bread products are a mainstay, with thriving wedding cake and wholesale bread components, and the largest dessert cart north of San Francisco. We are internationally recognized in visitors' guides and by travelers as a California Wine Country destination. Try our artisan breads - you'll taste why they are so acclaimed. Family owned and operated. No trans fats. No artificial colors, flavorings or preservatives. Cholesterol free. World class breads since 1923. Our hand-crafted, hearth-baked artisan breads are highly acclaimed for a reason. Directions What's the best way to enjoy Costeaux bread? Our breads are best eaten the day baked, although our traditional methods and natural fermentation process improve not only the flavor but the longevity of each loaf. Simply store Costeaux bread in a cool, dry place rather than in the refrigerator, which extracts moisture. For longer storage, freeze the bread double wrapped in airtight plastic. To refresh for premium enjoyment, sprinkle bread with water before placing in a 375 degree oven for 5-10 minutes.
