Directions Directions: (1) Bring 8 cups of water to a rolling boil. (2) Whisk in soup mix. (3) Reduce heat to medium and simmer uncovered for 15 min, stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste. cooks in 15 minutes just add water. Another twist on a classic: hearty shrimp and sausage heat 1 tbsp. Vegetable oil in large saucepot over medium heat and brown 1 lb. boneless chicken breast, cut into 1- inch pieces, and 8 oz. andouille sausage, sliced. Stir in 8 cups water and bear creek gumbo soup mix and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. stir in 8 oz. shrimp, peeled and deveined and simmer 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Store in a cool dry place.
