Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Always cook to 165 degree F. The safe way to cook your Turkey Sausage: Completely cook turkey sausage until it is well-done and reaches a uniform, internal temperature of 165 degree F. Always use a meat thermometer inserted into the center of the turkey sausage. Quick and Easy Cooking Methods: Stovetop Method: Spray skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat skillet over medium-high heat. Place dinner sausage in hot skillet. Cook covered, turning occasionally, 17-19 minutes. Grill: Spray grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat grill over medium-high heat. Place dinner sausage on grill rack 4 inches from heat source. Grill approximately 16-18 minutes, turning occasionally. Always cook to well-done, 165 degree F as measured by a meat thermometer. Keep refrigerated.
