Directions Keep frozen. Cooking Guidelines: Oven: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Arrange frozen leg quarters in a single layer in a shallow roasting pan. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes, or until chicken can be used easily pierced with a fork and juices run clear. Let stand 3 to 5 minutes before serving. Meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chicken, without touching the bone, should reach 180 degrees F. For pan frying in a skillet or grilling, thaw chicken first. Defrosting: For best results defrost leg quarters in the refrigerator overnight. Always cook until the internal temperature reaches 180 degrees F. Skillet: Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a heavy skillet. Add thawed leg quarters and cook over medium high heat for approximately 5 minutes per side until nicely browned. Reduce heat to medium low, cover and cook an additional 15-20 minutes until chicken can be easily pierced with a fork and juices run clear.
